Hello and welcome back to my blog I hope everyone is doing well. This week for math I was doing cantamath with a group of people. We answered the questions individually this week. I had a go at 6 of the questions and got 5 of them right. Next week we will find out if we made the team or not.

Hello and welcome back to my blog I hope everyone is enjoying their day. This week for writing we are focusing on speeches. We got to choose between 4 topics a few weeks ago which are no poverty, zero hunger, good health and well-being and quality education. I chose zero hunger. We had all of last week to gather information for our speech and all of this week to write it and put it on cue cards. Here is my favourite paragraph from my speech;

I think to stop the cycle of hunger we need to find ways of supplying these 3rd world countries with goods that will satisfy their immediate needs now but also give them the means to self sustain themselves in the future, for example, show them modern farming techniques like irrigation, pest control and crop tending.

Hello and welcome back to my blog, I hope everyone is doing well. This week for math I was selected into a cantamath group. In the workshop we did some cantamth so the teachers could pick a team. They are picking 4 year 7's for one team and 4 year 8's for the other team. For the practice I was put in a group with a boy called Hayun, Ethan & Archie.

 Hello and welcome back to my blog, I hope everyone is doing well. This week for reading our task was to read 1 out of 5 persuasive texts. I picked one talking about if kids should eat junk food. Hello and welcome back to my blog I hope everyone is doing well. This week for Writing our task was to pick our speech topic. Their were 4 topics to pick from no poverty, zero hunger, health and well being and equal education. I picked zero hunger because it was the topic I was most interested in.
